Unlock The Every Day Magic Of Tea

Our studio kitchen serves as the source of floor community discussions. We stand around the kettle, boiling water on repeat and pouring cups of tea to steep throughout the day, blending bags and flavors as we continue our work and discussions on cold winter mornings. Recently we discovered a new brand whose swoon worthy imagery and on point packaging have me stocking up non-stop.

The Seventh Duchess are tea traders and tea for them “represent a memory, medicine, emotion and energy in a cup”.

I MEAN HOW BEAUTIFUL IS THAT STATEMENT?

Their luxury tea leaves, all 100% organic are free from synthetic chemicals, fertilizers, pesticides and growth hormones. Their tea is the perfect way to relax, rewind and get your skin blissfully glowing for the special day- and everyday.

As Samantha Sleeper is rooted in sustainability, we are on board with bull horning other brands messaging that aligns with our own.

One of our favorites is Grace an organic beauty tea bursting with antioxidants and therapeutic ingredients that will result in youthful and hydrated radiant complexion.

Check out there full collection of beautifully crafted teas and purchase a little everyday sip of luxury.

NEW YORK MAGAZINE, WEDDINGS EDITION

I woke up from a night of intense dreaming, living in a parallel world that felt- in dreaming as real as the one I woke up to. That happens frequently- a few times a week- and most mornings I want to go back into my dream land for a few more minutes but today New York Magazine weddings edition is on stands and inside of it is my first ever ad campaign and that feels like a huge, huge step for my label.

We are on page 33, right behind  @verawanggang and @harrywinston (whoa) and page left to Zsa Zsa Gabor fabulously cutting her wedding cake in 1962. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being apart of my community, of supporting my business, and allowing us to invest in creating beautiful moments day after day.

I hope to see you in the studio soon

SAMANTHA SLEEPER ON STYLE ME PRETTY

What do you get when you combine mimosas and matrimony? Why this colorful brunch wedding of course. It’s Brooklyn meets bold details and we’ve got it all captured by Emilia Jane Photography in The Vault!

http://www.stylemepretty.com/2016/10/24/mimosas-marriage-this-brooklyn-brunch-wedding/

From the Bride…Tom and I first met in high school in Orlando, FL and reconnected in New York City in November of 2013. He proposed on July 30, 2015 at the Top of the Standard in Manhattan.

New York City has been our home for a number of years and we wanted to celebrate our marriage in the city we both love. After touring many event spaces in Manhattan and Brooklyn, the River Cafe was our last stop in early September of 2015. We were both immediately drawn to this beautiful and historic restaurant next to the Brooklyn Bridge.

Many people asked why we chose to have a daytime wedding. The truth is, we not only wanted to do something a little bit different but we also wanted to show our closest family and friends why we enjoy living in NYC so much and what we like to do on a typical spring Saturday – enjoying the city with our friends!

We were married in an intimate ceremony in the private garden behind the River Café, overlooking downtown Manhattan. After the ceremony, we moved to the flower-bedecked terrace for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by lunch in the garden room. It was doubly amazing when we noticed the FDNY fireboats shooting water in all directions behind us on the East River!

Having our wedding celebration at the River Cafe combined many things that we both love: a beautiful and historic setting by the Brooklyn Bridge, wonderful food at a Michelin star rated restaurant and breathtaking views of the NYC skyline.

Another favorite part of the wedding planning process for me was working with wedding dress designer, Samantha Sleeper. I found her line in a tiny boutique in Brooklyn and decided to reach out to her directly to meet her. Soon after visiting her studio in Gowanus I found the dress of my dreams, a beautiful combination of lace and flower embroidery. After working together from January to May, we became friends and she also attended our wedding.

Having a daytime wedding celebration was a dream come true for us and our families and we could not be happier with our choice.
